They hydrate you, remineralize you and give you extra energy for the hottest days. These fresh smoothies are easy to make and you’ll enjoy them as if you were under a palm tree…

In summer we need extra hydration and minerals to help us compensate for everything we lose with sweat. Juices and smoothies are an ideal way to replenish fluids and at the same time provide our body with nutrients that help it maintain water balance and vitality.
These smoothies are made with summer fruits and vegetables, some with aromatic herbs that give it an extra point of freshness. They are refreshing, nutritious, revitalizing and delicious smoothies!
SUMMER SUNSHINE: THE SMOOTHIE THAT PROTECTS YOUR SKIN
This smoothie is full of beta-carotene, the orange pigment that helps protect our skin from the sun’s rays.
Beta-carotene is basically provided by carrots and peaches. Within our body these compounds are transformed into vitamin A, an antioxidant that fights free radicals responsible for the signs of aging.
Carrots, in addition to being a great source of beta-carotene, provide vitamin C, which helps maintain glowing and fresh skin.
Peaches also help prevent damage caused by the sun’s UVA rays due to its rich composition, not only in beta-carotene, but also in vitamins C and K, and minerals such as potassium. It also helps to keep the skin hydrated due to its flavonoid and vitamin C content.
Together with the rest of the ingredients in this smoothie, highly moisturizing and concentrated in beautifying minerals (cucumber, lettuce and sunflower seed shoots), they will help us show off strong hair and hard nails.
Sunflower seed sprouts have a high concentration of amino acids, active enzymes, minerals, folic acid and vitamins A, C and E. Thanks to this, this super sprouter provides a high nutritional value to the smoothie.

ROUGE PERFORMANCE: STIMULATE YOUR SENSUAL ENERGY
The star ingredient of this smoothie is beetroot, because it gives it its characteristic color and its main function: to improve the circulation of blood and oxygen to the muscles, thanks to the richness of nitrates in this root. But it’s not the only ingredient with positive contributions…
- Hemp seeds. They are a very good source of complete vegetable protein and omega-3 essential fatty acids, perfect for good muscle recovery.
- Turmeric. This spice, with its unmistakable flavour and colour, protects the joints and muscles against possible inflammation.
- Rice milk. It gives the smoothie a base with extra natural sugars, ready to be used and transformed into energy.
The properties of the foods that compose it make it an ideal shake for athletes. But that’s not all: its color is so insinuating!
The beetroot and chlorophyll in spinach improve blood circulation in the sexual organs, which increases fertility and libido. Bananas, on the other hand, are a fruit rich in potassium and B vitamins, two nutrients necessary for the production of sex hormones.
Red fruits or berries, especially the smaller and more intense ones, are considered aphrodisiac foods because of their high content of vitamin C, which also helps in the production of hormones and awakens desire, and because they can give a lot of play with the partner. Also use them as a topping for this smoothie and savor it slowly. You can drink it cold to cool down when the hot days arrive.
