4 super vitamin juices with fresh vegetables and fruits

In orchards and markets, we find all the necessary ingredients to make vegetable dishes rich in vitamins, but also juices and smoothies. There is no better elixir for your health than the concentrated vitality of good fresh vegetables and fruits.

VERY GREEN JUICE WITH CUCUMBER, APPLE AND LEAVES

There’s no better elixir for your health than the concentrated vitality of some good fresh vegetables.

Ingredients for 1 person

  • 1 cucumber
  • 2 apples
  • 1 sprig of parsley
  • 1 handful of leafy greens
  • 1 piece of ginger
  • The juice of half a lemon

Preparation

  1. Wash the ingredients very well and chop them.
  2. Then pass them through a juice extractor and the green preparation is ready to enjoy. If you don’t have a juicer, you can use a traditional blender. Although there is an important difference between one and the other: with the blender you will not extract all the juice from the green leaves and, in addition, it will oxidize faster.
  3. If you don’t have a juicer or blender, another option is to blend all the ingredients and then run them through a cheesecloth or cloth bag to strain and separate the liquid from the fiber.

ORANGE AND GRAPEFRUIT JUICE WITH MINT CUBES

Citrus fruits are an excellent source of vitamin C. In this recipe, 3 different citrus fruits are used and ice cubes with mint leaves are added. Without a doubt, it is a drink that is as refreshing as it is healthy.

Ingredients for 1 person

  • 1 grapefruit
  • 2 oranges
  • Half a lemon

For the ice cubes

  • Water
  • Mint leaves

Preparation

  1. To make the cubes, fill an ice cube tray halfway with water, add mint and freeze for 1 hour. Take it out for a moment, add water until it is full, and then put it back to freeze.
  2. For the juice, squeeze all the citrus fruits, strain the juice and serve with the ice cubes.

FRUIT JUICE WITH CHLORELLA

Chlorella is a single-celled microalgae. It has a great detoxifying power due to its high concentration of chlorophyll. In fact, it is the known food source that contains the most of this green substance.

As part of a cleansing diet, it is recommended (consult an expert beforehand if it is suitable for you) to take a dessert teaspoon (5 g) of chlorella powder diluted in a glass of water, three times a day.

With this juice, you won’t have to drink it alone. It will taste much better and you will combine ingredients that enhance its effect. Chlorella gives recipes a touch of bitter and marine flavour that is well offset here by the potency of parsley, ginger and pepper.

Ingredients for 4 people

  • 2 or 3 apples, blended
  • Half a cup of parsley
  • A small piece of ginger
  • A naturally squeezed lemon
  • 1/4 tablespoon turmeric
  • Pinch of pepper
  • 1 teaspoon chlorella

This smoothie is intended to be taken as part of a cleansing or detoxification treatment, prescribed by a therapist.

GREEN ENERGY JUICE

The bananas in this smoothie add creaminess to the mixture, as do the chia seeds, which enrich the smoothie with their omega-3 fatty acids.

Ingredients

  • 1 cucumber with skin
  • 1 stalk of green celery with its leaves
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 tablespoon chlorella seaweed powder
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 2 or 3 glasses of mineral water
  • A few fresh mints leaves

Preparation

  1. Wash the vegetables.
  2. Place all the ingredients in the blender with the mineral water and blend it all together.
  3. Serve immediately.
